This is why they include a new battery door cover. I bought this one to replace the standard Lithium-Ion one that came with my V3m. Thus, it bulges out on the back side of the phone and is slightly heavier. After 2 years, it would only hold a charge for about a day. This battery works geat, it's actually 1480 mAh and the shipping was faster than I expected.The battery is thicker that the old one, probably about double the thickness. I don't really notice it in my pocket or using it, but for some this may be an issue. I'm just glad my calls go through.
Battery goes from low(one bar on battery meter) to dead quickly & suddenly. I've bought two aftermarket Razr batteries so far. I've had it for a week now. I don't talk too much & would say I do only some texting. I'd advise anyone having problems to just replace the Razr before spending money on it. Charger gets pretty warm now while charging.
The screen is often going all white on me now too, that may or may not be related to the battery. One slightly extended(800mAh) one & this extended(1400mAh) one. Actually I never see one bar anymore. If I charge every night I make it thru a whole day just fine. It might make it thru two days if I don't use the phone one of the days & nobody calls. Both Razrs I've owned did that at some point after the higher capacity aftermarket battery was installed.
I qualify for a free phone now & am going to take advantage.
Worked very well. Came complete with back as advertised. Phone now lasts 3 days with use rather than 1. Easy to install.
The first few times I used my phone after charging this battery, I was extremely disappointed--it barely lasted a day. It eventually started to retain more charge over time, but the battery life is still below average compared to other phones I've owned. If your battery life is complete crap, and you're looking to improve it, this will probably help a little. I eventually just decided to scrap my RAZR and go with something else, which was a better move for me.
The battery I received was labeled as 1400mAh and, like previous ones that I've used (they last about a year before losing capacity), at least doubles my talk and standby time. Since the battery is thicker it requires replacement of the phone's standard battery cover which also, of course, makes the phone slightly thicker. For me the small additional thickness is a small price to pay for much longer battery life.
